CamGuard by Tiers hides your cam from greys, anonymous viewers, and unauthorized bots. Only the user tiers you choose — Dark Purple, Light Purple, Dark Blue, Fan Club, Mods, and optionally token holders — can see your video, plus anyone who tips to unlock
Protect your stream from unauthorized recording and anonymous scrapers. CamGuard flips the usual moderation logic: instead of trying to block bad actors you can't identify, it hides your cam from everyone and grants viewing access only to a whitelist built automatically from user tiers you trust.
How it works
On launch, the app hides your cam and scans the room, granting access to every user in the tiers you enabled. New arrivals are evaluated on entry, and anyone who tips at least the unlock amount gets immediate access. Greys and anonymous viewers never qualify, so they never see your video.
Features
- Tier-based whitelist: choose which colors get access (Dark Purple, Light Purple, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Fan Club, Moderators)
- Tip-to-unlock: set a token amount that grants instant access (or disable it)
- Automatic retry: if a tip-based grant doesn't register on the first attempt, the app re-applies it after 3 seconds and logs the retry
- Timestamped audit log of every grant and revoke, with the reason (tier, tip, manual, or retry) useful evidence trail if leaked content appears
- Optional real-time notices to you for every access change
- Customizable message shown to locked-out viewers
Broadcaster commands
/allow /revoke /guardlist /auditlog (last 50) /auditlog full /rescan /guardon /guardoff
Good to know
After unlocking via tip, viewers may need to refresh the page (F5) for the video to load. This is platform player behavior the video player only re-checks access permissions on page load, not in real time.
The app automatically tells tippers to refresh if the video doesn't appear within a few seconds, and the default lock message also mentions it.
The whitelist and audit log are session-scoped: they reset when the app restarts. Run /auditlog full before ending your session if you want to keep a copy of the log.
Honest limits: apps can't stop someone from entering the room, and anyone with legitimate access can still screen-record. What CamGuard does is make recording cost money and identity eliminating anonymous mass scrapers and giving you a traceable access list for DMCA takedowns. For best results, combine with the site's native room settings (require tokens, region blocking, room password).
